Indecision
Am I crazy for already want to change up our bedroom after only living in our house for 3 months?
I bought these pillows for our master bedroom but with everything else in the room, I'm thinking they would look better like this in one of our guest bedrooms. . . .
I have always been indecisive, but for someone who usually doesnt like purple I am REALLY loving the mix of berry and lavender with my oh so favorite coral. . . .

DIY Snakeskin Tray
Remember this post about snakeskin duct tape? I found a roll at Target and I knew that it needed to make an appearance in our house. This project took less than an hour - I just finally got around to posting about my little project -which included playing with the new BeautifulMess app - have you tried it?
The trickiest part was cutting the small strips to start with the edges and handles. I just wrapped them around to the bottom. Fortunately the snakeskin pattern doesn't have to line up perfectly and when you cover the top of the tray with longer strips if they aren't *exactly* straight it just makes it look less uniform. Another bonus - since it's duct tape it will repel moisture if you set/spill a drink on it

Shower Curtains
Why is it that when you are looking for something specific you can NEVER find exactly what you want. . . and then the minute you stop looking (or in my case decide to make your own shower curtains out of tablecloths) everywhere you turn there is the thing that you were looking for.
I am happy with how my guest bathroom shower curtain turned out (more to come later). . . but after finding a few great curtains online (especially this one from Jonathan Adler for JC Penney or just about any of the options from Serena and Lily) I'm kind of wishing I had more bathrooms. . .

Plants & Planters
I'm thinking of getting a lemon tree for our house. . . However, I am having a hard time even keeping succulents alive. The second choice is what type of planter to get. . . . I already have hydrangeas in those great chippendale fretwork planters (can you believe they are Home Depot?) So now its just deciding what planter to put the lemon tree in. . . After discovering the blue and white planter or the black and white pot from Emilia Ceramics I'm thinking it may be enough motivation to keep a plant alive.
